Marian was born August 28, 1929, at Weiser, Idaho, to Floyd and Myrtle (Hepp) Snider. She received her education in the Midvale and Weiser schools and at NNC in Nampa, Idaho.
Marian worked in various offices doing secretarial work, mainly in law offices as a legal secretary.
She married Jim Acock in Nampa, Idaho in 1955. Jim lost his life in an airplane crash in 1960, shortly before the birth of their son, Jeffery. In 1961 Marian married David Robbins of Wilder, Idaho. To this union one son, Alan, was born in 1966.
Marian was a stay-at-home mom, living with her family on an 80 acre dairy farm in Arena Valley, where she raised her children. She was involved in PTA, Parma Musicale, Arena Valley Circle and served on the Canyon County election board for many years. She attended Deer Flat Free Methodist Church.
Marian was an avid bird watcher, meticulous house keeper, and skilled musician on both piano and accordion. Most of all she was a loving mother to her two boys.
In their later years David and Marian enjoyed a number of tours around different areas of the United States and enjoyed many "get-aways" in their RV.
She is predeceased by her parents Floyd and Myrtle Snider; three brothers: Glenn, Norman, and Robert Snider; her husband, David Robbins and one son, Jeffery Acock. She is survived by her brother, Roger Snider, and one son, Alan Robbins and his wife Michelle, two grandsons, one granddaughter, and one great granddaughter. When she died she was looking forward to soon becoming a great great grandmother.
Marian lived her life serving God and being loving and kind to all people. She willingly and selflessly helped many people in their times of need. She was greatly loved in life and will be greatly missed.
