He then purchased a dairy farm in Kuna where he followed his passion of farming over the next 20 years. In 1991, he retired from farming and purchased a home east of Kuna to relax and enjoy retirement. Jean passed away in 2000. He later met and married Lois Johnson in 2005, and they continued to live in Kuna, until his passing.
John is survived by his wife, Lois Belveal; three children: Carol (Tim) Baker, Jay (Linda) Belveal, and Tray Belveal; many grandkids and great-grandkids; and brothers: Chuck and Melvin and their families.

His family will remember him as a wonderful man, father, and grandfather. They all admired and loved him. He trusted in God and had compassion for his fellow man. He was always working on something and stayed active. John was a man of determination and always finished what he started.
