Judy was the oldest of 54 grandchildren in the Robinson family. At the age of 12 Judy and her family moved to the United States. Judy’s family settled in Southern California where Judy graduated from Torrance high school in 1962. Judy always wanted to be a nurse and started her career as a candy striper. In 1969 Judy met her husband, Richard, while she was working and Richard came to the hospital as a Paramedic. In 1970 Judy and Richard were married and enjoyed 51 years together. Judy and Richard raised their three children and loved taking camping adventures, especially in the High Sierras. As a family they would travel across the U.S and often returned to Canada to visit Judy’s family.
