I am a friend of Michele Applebee and have many happy memories of spending time with her parents in McCall and Caldwell. A particularly funny memory was at a Christmas party in McCall involving a white elephant gift exchange. Phyllis came prepared with a treasured artifact from one of her and Ralph's many great adventures, which most sought to leave with that night. After a night of great food, drink, and several rounds of gift exchanges, Phyllis walked away with a Richard Simons VCR exercise video and a huge smile on her beautiful face. She contemplated how she would watch it and get into better shape! Phyllis was giggling, laughing, enjoying herself, setting an example for how to live as she often did in serious or humorous situations. What a joyous spirit Phyllis had and shared with so many. I am so thankful to have known her and will miss spending time with her.
