I met Laci in 1965, my first year in college, working in the MSU Lab on a work-study program. He was most patient with me as he taught me what I needed to do. I broke a lot of expensive glassware as I was learning my job and I never felt shamed or his anger because of my clumsiness. He was never too busy to help when I needed something or to just sit and talk a bit. I considered him my friend. My years of working with Laci are filled with fond memories. He was a great man in my eyes. I am so sorry for your loss.
