Kevin & family,
One of the joys of returning to Boise for retirement was to see Cathie again as part of the @ 25-30 BK women classmates who get together for monthly lunch when in town. She was light & life & laughter & love ... all the good “L” words. In her memory, will donate to Bishop Kelly. As one of the St Mary’s School “delegation to BK” (along with you), my prayers will be for YOUR consolation and her glorious ‘Life unto Life’ transition into the Communion of saints to which her own mortal path of healing, caring & comforting surely led her. Kevin, my deepest condolences that Cathie has left us, at least for now. I remember her as being incredibly strong and kind, a bundle of loving compassion for her patients, and a light to everyone she encountered. I was a very fortunate young nurse when I met Cathie in 1970 and had the honor of working with her for several years. Her positive attitude, her can do beliefs and her ability to lead others to provide compassionate and loving care to all was contagious and she was one of the kindest people I knew. I had a chance to meet the kids when she would bring them shopping at Banana Republic. It was joy to watch her with her kids and to listen to her stories. She was so proud. I know Kevin that her love for you was tremendous and I am glad you have all the memories of your life to keep close to you. I am blessed to have known her and worked with her for so long, she was and is an incredible woman.
