Maryann and family
Thinking of you in sympathy of the loss of such a "G"Rand man. whenever I think of Rand I remember his infectious laugh. Always elating a roomful. I also thought he could double for Wolfman Jack as well!! I know he was a great influencer and such a beloved teacher. This time of year I always relished stories from his school camping adventures. What lucky kids at Pierce Park!!!
MaryAnn I'm right across the street if ever you want to take a stroll after visiting your Mom.
Blessings to all

Mr. B was and amazing teacher and mentor to me as I started my career at Taft Elementary. His heart was as big as his love for kids and it was contagious to all who worked with Rand and had him as a teacher. His sense of humor was a hallmark of his teaching as well. He brought so much to the field of education- between his love for science, with rocket-building clubs and launchings, weather experiments, his love for anything with outer space, and of course environmental field trips. Then there was his fostering of the elementary school sports program and Saturday Activities program. We got to work together again at Pierce Park Elementary later in our careers.
I was so sorry to miss his graveside service. Many blessings to all of the Budzianowski's for sharing their Rand with us all.

Mr. B was my favorite teacher. I had him in 5th grade at Taft Elementary. He was funny, engaging, and caring. He was also willing to be vulnerable which was surprising from a 5th grade male teacher. I remember him talking about how he cried at the ending to Bridge to Terabithia. I am so grateful for the impact he had on my life and so many others. He will be missed.

Rand was my daughter's teacher 1985 at Taft. I was a teachers assistant then, really liked him and his upbeat personality! I told him my daughter's last name and I was floored because No One Ever said it correctly, my mouth dropped open! He said well my last name is Budzianowski. Oh!! He gave my daughter a inside plant/ bush last day of school from his classroom. I still have it to this day- remembering Rand. Sorry for your loss to all his family

I always felt fortunate to have Rand as my mentor teacher when I first started teaching. We had a lot of fun together and many great memories. Although I didn't keep in touch as well as I should have after he retired, I thought of him often. He will be greatly missed, but his legacy will live on through the many lives he touched.
